Blake:
Q: How would you describe your style/ if you had to describe your style in a sentence what would it be?
A: Warm weather casual forced to put on layers.
Q: What influences your style/Is there any style icon who you try to emulate?
A: Surf culture, Melvin Gordon post game outfits.
Q: How do you show your style within your club?
A: By going hard on themes and mixing in something unique every time.
Q:What is your favorite item of clothing in your closet?
A: My dad’s Georgetown windbreaker from the 80’s.
Q: How does your style showcase your personality?
A: I try to style myself as far from Vineyard Vines as possible. Can’t do it.
Harper:
Q: How would you describe your style/ if you had to describe your style in a sentence what would it be?
A: I tend to dress smart-casual erring more towards the “smart” end of the spectrum. Overall my goal is just to look presentable and put together.
Q: What influences your style/Is there any style icon who you try to emulate?
A: There isn’t any one figure that I try to emulate. I think that my background spending lots of time outside of the US and living in Singapore and Shanghai has shaped the way I dress. People outside the US tend to dress a little differently from Americans, and I think that just being around that culture had the most significant influence on me.
Q: How do you show your style within your club?
A: I just dress the way that I normally do.
Q:What is your favorite item of clothing in your closet?
A: Probably this collarless, long-sleeved button down I own. I wore it a lot this summer, so it reminds me of warmer times.
Q: How does your style showcase your personality?
A: I’m not an extremely flashy or ostentatious person (at least I try not to be), and I’m a big fan of harmony and balance, and I think my style channels this to an extent.
